I don't typically read comic books, so struggled for a bit trying to figure this one out. I happened to come across souvenirs from my last trip to Cali, and I'd bought a comic book version of Escape From Alcatraz. I haven't seen it since I unpacked, so it's not even open yet. :)
I’ve been very into the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, I plan on reading this is as my first Comic Series ever.
I would recommend Kate Beaton, Sarah Anderson, Jeph Jacques, Bill Waterson, Simon Tofield, Gary Larson, Jim Davis, or Jerry Scott
I personally consider them to be different, to me a graphic novel is more like an illustrated novel, there is one plot line from beginning to end. A comic book is a collection of comic strips, and they rarely have a plot that lasts longer than two strips. But I spoke to a librarian and she said the two are confused for each other so often that they are basically interchangeable.
This also breaks down Comic Books, Graphic Novels, and Manga a bit

For my Picture Book challenge: Binky the Space Cat by Ashley Spires. (5 Stars)

The Amory Wars: Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Vol. 1 by Claudio Sanchez
Completed: December 11, 2020
El Deafo by Cece Bell. I loved this and it's a really nice way to introduce unnoticed disabilities or ones that aren't always considered a disability.
Loki: El Dios que Cayó a la Tierra by Daniel Kibblesmith, because I love Loki from the MCU (in other words, Tom Hiddleston)
