Alice has been anything but lucky. Both of her parents died when she was very young, forcing her to move across the country to live with her aunt. For years Alice has let her past define her and has searched far and find to find the meaning of home. Through it all, however, she has still believed in love. Alice has been pining after her best friend Teddy for years. When Alice gives Teddy a lottery ticket on his eighteenth birthday, her luck takes a turn. After winning the lottery and being thrown into the world with Teddy, Alice learns that maybe, love and luck or more intertwined than she imagined.
