Finally I've started and so far? I don't know. I do t really read intrigue and that's what booging me down right now. I hate this being in the dark.

I will say that Cosima is a strong individual. But then she's had to be.

I've just started reading about The Hunt. It's really sickening to think that this cis probably based on truth.

Keep going I liked the last 50 percent. You need to read the end for book 2. The second book is same timeline as Evolution. I’m about 45 % but I’m visiting family this weekend so I won’t read much before Sunday when I’m back home.

It is! And I have a feeling that I haven't read the worse of it yet. I stopped last night at the part where they are going to the club in London.

I'm starting to like Alexander. Must say Cosima really is a fighter. I keep thinking if the order wasn't part of the storyline would I have liked this?

Thanx for making me stick it out. The last part of the book was much better for me. Maybe because we finally start getting the story. I did not see that coming. Just like Cosima I was suspicious but didn't know what or why. And just as I was swearing at Cosima for running I remember she is only 20 and the games these people were playing what else could she do. I wanted her to tell him and still leave.

Anyway I hope you are having a good time. I'm starting the next one. Like that we get to here his side now.

Good I’m glad you stuck it out. I think the last third the slavery aspect was more toned down, and then when they formed a relationship,it got easier to read. I was going to bring up the birth control issue, cause it’s like it was forgotten about but it was just addressed in book 2. I agree She should have told him about Noah and his third son. and the beating, especially since Dante was waiting for her. I’m glad we waited to read this so we could go right into book 2.

Your right once the relationship aspect developed it got much easier to read. Tat was also where we started doing able to work out things. Little hints and answers. Just enough to keep you going.

What I don't understand is how blind he could be. How is it that he doesn't know about Mrs White and Noel? He doesn't like the Order but he doesn't have the info like his father. I would have made sure I Know far more than he seemed to. Yes I understand vengeance for hi mom's death was what sidetracked him. But with people like these I would still be been much more aware. Maybe I'm being to clever for the dramatic effect the author was making but some things just didn't add up.

Mrs White seemed off to me the whole book. I was wondering why she was indifferent to the abuse Cosi was going through. When Cosi saw her kneeling at Noel’s side it should have clicked. Hard to believe Alex never saw the signs she was a slave.

But was she? Or was she just someone that Noel could use. Yes I'd see her be his submissive but if she was a slave wouldn't she have given off more vibes. Or hinted more that she knows what Cosima is suffering. There would have been more reference not just this motherly vibe. I also thought she was too old. Maybe I missed it but the picture I had of her was an older woman that was the housekeeper, maybe even Xan's nanny. Or was she a clever woman that knew all the secrets and wanted security so agreed to marrying and having his child.

I could have sworn that he called her his slave at some point. Maybe book 2? Not sure. I could be wrong. When I was at my sisters this weekend all my reading was done after midnight.

Must be book two. Something to keep reading for. If she was his slave? How did he manage to marry her. Okay, okay. I have to go read now.
