Neverending TBR Corner discussion

Please mention or recommend a TV book adaptation. Could be a TV show or a Movie.
I'd love to check out more of these types of TV shows or Movies and see which is better. The book or the TV Adaptation. Usually the book always wins! Am I right?

Two of my favorite TV Shows are based on books,
A Series Of Unfortunate Events, based on the book series of the same name by Lemony Snicket and
Anne With An E, based on the Anne Of Green Gables book series by L.M. Montgomery. They're both a bit darker than the books, but they're both very good.

Ohhh I saw the tv show A Series of Unfortunate Events. It was pretty good :)

My husband and I just finished watching The Witcher on Netflix. I did not know it was a book series. I only knew of the Witcher since my husband played the video games.

I highly recommend this TV show. It is amazing!!! Just a heads up, if you are uncomfortable with nudity then please don't watch. I think it has more nudity then Game of Thrones and its only 8 episodes.

It has been renewed for a second season! Also.. the actor who played Superman in the recent movies is in this TV show and he plays the Witcher. He is amazing as the Witcher.
