I hope you’re all well!

I know me and Georgi haven’t been very active lately - I personally have been having a terribly hard mental health time and whilst I’ve been reading and stuff, I haven’t get much like being social and I’m so sorry for that.

Me and Georgi have been messaging today and we are trying to find ways of making this a more fun and interactive book club.

As I have recently wanted to read more middle grade books, we have decided that some months we could possibly have a middle grade option alongside the book club pick too.

Would this be something you’re interested in?
Is there anything you would like us to consider implementing in 2020?
Any particular readathons you’d like to see or maybe different themes some months?

We'd love to be able to provide more fun things for you to take part in and our book club has always been about trying to come up with something that everyone would enjoy!

Any and all suggestions are welcome! We've got a Harry Potter monthly readalong in coming for the end of 2020 that we think you will LOVE but that's a bit far away and we'd like to know how you think we could interact with you all and get you more involved!

I adore Lauren's idea of branching out into Middle Grades as well as I know some of us will enjoy a slower/easier read every so often after those giant hefty fantasies!

No idea is too much or too little! 💚

How about some months a member picks their favourite book and everyone else reads it? Or adding in Bookstagram photo prompts too? Or every few months try a genre out of our comfort zones? Or arrange a Bookish meet up? I’ve just thought of these ideas on the spot so please ignore them if their pants!

I’ll be honest I’m really struggling. Some days I just want everything to end and I seriously consider hurting myself, others are better. But I hope you’re okay lovely 💚

A meet up would be amazing, I’d love to meet all you lovelies and I love the idea of reading outside of comfort zone.
I’m just trying to think what outside of comfort zone we could do, maybe adult fantasy? You know like Mistborn or something? Or...Stephen king? We would have to create a chat thing like this and get everyone’s out of comfort zone genres and then randomly pick one.

Yes it would be lovely to have a Bookish meet up for sure! Adult fantasy would definitely be a good one! I’ve been wanting to read Mistborn for ages and I have a couple of Stephen King I’ve never read either!
