MSM Sophomore English 2019- 2020 discussion

Luke Garner was living under a corrupt government, that has declared it illegal to have a third child, due to an apparent shortage of food. These people who enforce this law are known as the "Population Police". Luke just so happened to be the youngest of the three kids, so he has to spend his life living in his family's attic. Luke discovers that one of his neighbors is a shadow child. The shadow child he meets, decides to attend a rally for freedom of the shadow children, but is shot to death on sight by the Population Police. When Luke goes to her house to look for her, he runs into her father, and Luke is offered a new identity.

Will Luke take this opportunity to live a false life that grants him freedom, or continue to live in secret in his family's attic?

i think that he would take that opportunity and find out more about the girl he wants to look for.
