She-Geeks discussion

Hey all! Like the title says, I don't plan on stalking any of you, but I'm interested in finding some people a bit more local to meet up with and discuss books or whatever else :) So, I figured to get that ball rolling, I'd ask where everyone lived.

Obviously, do NOT post your address or be too specific, as that is an awful idea. However, the country/state, type of area, sort of house, or living conditions are cool to say I would think.

To get started, I live in Allegany County Maryland (USA) in a nice little duplex I am renting with my boyfriend and two cats. I also live part-time in the local game store.

I live in Glasgow, Scotland in a tiny flat with my girlfriend and our cat, Arya.

I live in the small town of Bailey in the mountains of Colorado USA in a log house, no joke. Bailey in know for Sasquatch sightings... so I am surrounded by crazy people but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else hehehe

I live in a town called Amesbury...just north of Boston.

I've lived in NW Alabama for many years now. I've needed places like Goodreads and groups like this to keep my sanity and remember there are people in the world that are more on my wavelength ;)

I feel you on that. Most people around here are seem to be on a different wavelength than me as well. Nice to find some kindred spirits :)

heyyyy! I am Zefi, I am from Greece and I live with my mother (arg still) and dog in a flat in the city of Thessaloniki. This is the second biggest city after Athens :)
Quite an ok place to live in, with lots of students :)

I don't know many people on She Geeks mostly because I havent been very active due to grad school work,but I hope to meet more :)

Well that's four countries already - I hail from Canada (Edmonton, AB to be exact). We live in a smaller, older house that just fits myself, my husband, and our dog. I gave up house space so we can have a huge back yard that boasts garden I built earlier this year.

Our houses also boasts a creepy-ass "basement" that has to be accessed by a trap door.

We nicknamed it the murder hole.

I live in a place where old men rule and I have to fight for respect, SW Florida, USA.

I'm from small town New England (US), but living in Brooklyn.
