Please share your favorite Challenge reads here. You are welcome to share your entire list here as well or make a 2019 MLCL Challenge shelf and we can review your list there.

For those of you willing to read with us again in 2020, we are in the process of fine-tuning the list and getting ready to post it next week. There will be a BONUS 26th book, in honor of Lyon County's 150th birthday, which we will be celebrating all year long!

Sara, You have some great (and hefty) books on your Challenge list! A few have been on my TBR list but I have yet to get to them, so you have re-recommended them.

I created a 2019 Challenge shelf as well. I actually gave more 4 and 5 star ratings this year than I have in the past. I'm not sure if I was more soft-hearted or did a better job of choosing books! Two books that I really enjoyed when I didn't expect to was Ghost Talkers (Kowal) for Genre You Normally Don't Read and The Poisoner's Handbook for True Crime.

Valerie | 10 comments My books are on a shelf labeled MLCL 2019 Reading Challenge (I have a lot of shelves, so...sorry about that). My historical novel and non-fiction title set during the same time period are kind of a stretch, but overall I'm happy with how my challenge went this year. I wanted to reduce the number of audiobooks I used for the challenge this year, and was able to cut it down to four.
