Hmm. Not quite sure where this section ends. It's a lot harder with an audiobook to note the chapters.

I'm not sure how I feel about the stuff with the seerer and her predictions. You can really get meta over the whole thing. She herself even brings up the notion that by telling Gavin things they may change stuff.

I wonder why it's so important that Karris is by his side. It seems like one of them has to die.

And I'm not sure if this is from this section or the last, but I enjoyed the blackguard final test stuff. It seems like Kip has made a loyal friend of Cruxer who breaks that other guy's leg to keep him out of the Blackguard and as a result Kip's in. Despite having things badly stacked against him.

If it was Andross, I wonder what he has over the test taker. It seems that simple greed bought the rest of them. But only the one guy is caught/kicked out? Did the other 2 make it in? I forget everyone's names..

So...who was behind the assassination attempt on The White?

I'm really not liking Liv, right now.

Why is Andross sucking up to Kip now? That better not work.

Karris picking out Gavin's clothes while they get ready for a new work day? Really? I can see a servant getting clothing ready, but Karris is a Blackguard and I just can't buy her starting her work day in the closet picking out clothes for Gavin. LOL.

Hmm. I missed the part about the clothes. I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. That does seem odd.

I make my bed when I change my sheets. But I live alone so yeah..

Comparing bed sheets and poop is a terrible analogy.

I keep my house pretty clean, but I don't really get the point of making the bed unless you have guests over. And even then..my bedroom is on another floor and I have a closet for coats, so they never see it.

The beds in my guest rooms are always made with clean sheets, but then I don't sleep in those.

Interesting thing about moisture though. I probably won't start making my bed over it though. lol.

I used to live in a crack house and sleep on a bare, stained mattress.

Now I am pretty fanatical about making the bed. Hotel corners!

I have 4 bathrooms :-D

If she wasn't a Blackguard I would buy that, but she is, and what her hubby wears for a normal day is not likely to even enter her mind...maybe for a special event, but not a normal day.

Plus, you guys are kinda funny. And a little gross, lol. You sound like my 19 yr old son who leaves his clothes in the dryer and changes in the laundry room, because 'why bring them to my room if I'm just going to have to bring them back when they are dirty'. :/

Maybe Karris is picking an outfit safest for fighting in..

I live in a city and still have a 90 minute commute :|

I live outside the city (Langley) and have a 5 min commute FTW! :D

Yes, Alex, we are - and yes, long drive from the burbs to the city, especially with bridges and traffic...which is why I almost never come into the city now, sadly.
