Books and Jams Readalong discussion

What are your thoughts as you make it past the 1/2 way point? Has anyone surprised you? What emotions has Alcott drawn out of you as you're reading this one?

I was surprised by Laurie's temper. Reading this makes me sentimental - thinking of the games that children play - in this case Pilgrims Progress, Post Office, and Pickwick Papers.

I'm also loving the woman Amy has become.

I am dnf'ing this. I feel guilty about it but I am just not interested and have too many other books I am excited to read. :(

I really enjoyed the second part of this book and seeing how all the March sisters are starting to mature and come into their own. I did not remember that Jo thought Beth was interested in Laurie. It is a great seasonal read that is heartwarming, perfect for this time of year.
