It was the best use of flashback I've ever read. Their story was wonderful and heartbreaking. The transitions worked very well.
I put this question in here because I thought she got it perfect but didn’t know if it was just me loving the story. Those transitions seem to come at the right moments with just the things I needed to know at that moment.

It's not just you, Jonetta. I thought this author did the past/present perfectly too. It needed to be told so that we could understand Summer and Adam more and it really succeeded.
Absolutely changed my opinion of Summer too. The flashbacks made her so human and their desperation about their relationship so real.
