Anna (cheeruppirate) | 7 comments This is my first year attempting Mount TBR but after looking over the amount of books I read this year that I already owned I think 24 is a goal higher than I've hit this year but still reachable, especially with my 50 book goal for the year.

Anna (cheeruppirate) | 7 comments So I finished a few books since my last update, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, Stardust by Neil Gaiman and Beloved by Toni Morrison.

That brings my total to 4 for the year, only 20 more to go!

Both great reads, and I'm especially interested in reading more of Michael Chabon's writing.

I'm at 6 total for the year, not too shabby.

That is 7/24 so far.

Yay, a big one! I loved Gone with the Wind when I read it too.

Anna (cheeruppirate) | 7 comments Ok I finished Scarlet, which I wasn't as in love with as Cinder but worth the read and I'd be willing to continue with the series.

I'm at 8/24, gotta bump it up to get to halfway for the year.

Anna (cheeruppirate) | 7 comments I finished The Goldfinch a few weeks ago and loved it! It was my first Donna Tart but I already bought a used copy of The Secret History and I can't wait to read that too!

The Secret History is very good. I read it a couple years ago.
