Richard Gluck | 11 comments A historical mystery set in the waning days of Weimar Germany. It evokes a Berlin of decadence, despair and extreme polarization. A very human portrait of the protagonist, a WW I veteran who saw a bit too much, trying to navigate in his new role as a member of the Berlin Police Murder Commission.

Thanks Richard. It looks like #14 in a series. Do you need to read them in order?

Richard Gluck | 11 comments I don’t think you do. Metropolis is a prequel, so it may make sense to read it first. I’ve read one other, Greeks Bearing Gifts, and I don’t feel I missed much by not having read others beforehand.

Happy holidays!
