I love the Twilight saga. If I had to pick a favorite character, it would have to be Jacob Black. He's so passionate....about everything, yet he has an easy smile. I love the many nuances of his personality. My favorite of the series....that's really hard, but I cried so hard when Edward left Bella in the woods and she curled into a fetal position. So I guess it would be New Moon. Meyer did such an excellent job expressing with words the pain Bella was going through. I've actually felt that exact same way the first time my first love broke it off with me. I say the first time because he had a habit of breaking up with me and then a few weeks later, begging me to take him back. This went on for five years! He shredded my heart until I didn't think I would ever be whole again. So it was easy for me to relate to Bella's pain.
i like "the breaking dawn" book the most...it's the perfect ending for the twilight saga..i love how bella evolved from a clumsy, shy girl to a breath taking vampire...

My favs out of twilight saga is twilight and Breaking dawn
Alice and Emmett are the best. Don't get me wrong, I love Edward with all his drama - he has to be the most perfect boy ever (well except for that whole leaving thing in NM), too bad it took him 100yrs to get that way...Anyway, Alice is awesome, who wouldn't want a best friend like her? And Emmett is adorable, he had the best lines, hehe.
Every time I read the books, I'm convinced that the one I'm on at the time is the best (of the first three, BD wasn't my fav). So I really don't know.
My first impression though, was that Eclipse was the best. It was the most exciting as far as the fight scenes and then of course there's the love triangle, who doesn't love one of those?
Claere wrote: "May I ask you people WHY you like this awfully shallow book?"Well, if you're serious, I'd be happy to discuss it with you. Although, I have to say, I haven't read the series for about 2 yrs, so I'm not as into it as I have been in the past.
If you're just trying to make a point though, I won't waste my time.
I was under the impression that this group was for Twilight LOVERS, not HATERS. Don't they have their own group?Either you get it, or you don't.
It's like either you like escargot, or you want to barf at the thought of eating snails. LOL
I kind of thought that too, but for all I know, they might actually be curious. I didn't get it and thought it might be kind of dumb before I picked up the book to actually read it for myself. I kept hearing references to it long before the movie came out and got curious.
I actually made a friend on goodreads who said he couldn't wait to read my book but when he found out my favorite book was the Twilight Sagas, he asked, "Really? Your fav book is the moronic ditherings of a talentless hack?" Then he told me he changed his mind about reading my book. I made nice and he changed his mind, but it still hurt. How do you get some people to see it like we do?
Sadly, some people are so sure that their opinion is the only one that's important, there's nothing you can say to convince them that just maybe someone else can have some good insight too. People like that really irritate me, by the way...I wonder if people who slam on the book have actually read it or if they're just listening to what other people say. I know a whole lot of people who were that way about Twilight until the movie came out, now they've all read the books and love them. Although I really don't get the draw of the movie so much, compared to the book, but that's just me.
And maybe Stephenie Meyer isn't the world's best author by certain standards. But I, for one, enjoyed her story. She got me loving reading with the first few chapters of Twilight. I hardly ever used to read anything. Now I'm addicted. I've even started writing a few stories and I never would have attempted that before.
And really, why is it anyone else's business what you think is a good story anyway? I mean, I don't get alot of things like why reality tv seems to be so fascinating to some people, but that's their business.
And as far as Stephenie being a "talentless hack", she sure did awfully well for herself, lol!
Ok, that's my little rant for now :)
I don't think i have a fave book but Character is Dr Carlisle Cullen I watched Twilight but didn't get all the hype. That was until i was convinced to buy the book, it changed my outlook on the film & the books. I love them & i am really glad i read them i will read them again. I even went to a midnight launch to buy Eclipse came home & watched it.
