I don't know why but I suddenly feel like reading books with disabled protagonist, especially blind heroines...

Maybe you guys know of such books? Please recommend!

P.S. Am trying to avoid Historical Romance books - would be better if you could suggest from contemporary or realistic fic :)

It doesn't feature a blind person, but "Say What You Will" by Cammie McGovern has a girl with cerebral palsy in it...I thought it was pretty good!

I recently read Annie's Song by Catherine Anderson and it is easily one of the best books I've ever read :) It deals with a girl with hearing problems.

There's a paranormal romance in the Christine Feehan dark series where the protagonist is blind - Pretty sure it's Dark Sympthony
