Merry Christmas to all, and an (almost) Happy New Year! One of the busiest and longest times of the years has just passed us by, so cheers! I know most of you are spending the Christmastime holidays with family or friends, or even cranking out those novels (good discipline you have!). I personally used my day to spend time with family and think of all the things I'm grateful for, including this group.
I want to thank all of you who have stuck out in this group for so long. If you even got a nugget of wisdom from this group that propelled you an inch towards your writing journey, that's the biggest accomplishment for us. We always strive to find ways to bring new and helpful content to our diverse writers, and next year will be no different.
There were a lot of new discussions, new members, and new activities we did throughout the year and we're thankful for your insight and participation.
So this New Year's Eve, we'll be doing a 'Year In Review' of all the beautiful new things we did, including the discussions we had, events we hosted, and up-and-coming books, writers and authors we spotlighted for 2019. Just like Goodreads has a 'Year in Review' of books read throughout the year, we want to do a Year in Review of conversations and achievements of this group throughout the year. I plan on naming it 'SW Rewind 2019'. We hope by doing this going forward we'll not only be able to reflect on all the great things we did in this group, but we can also spot what things we can improve for the future.
Feel free to take a look at the links to said material when they go up on Dec. 31st. And please, drop any suggestions of what YOU would like to see in 2020 or email us at strugglingwritersgroup@gmail.com.
