Whitney (mynechimki) | 2 comments I'm sorry that I missed the start of this book discussion! I just ordered Your Guide to Cemetery Research off of Amazon, and I'll jump in in the middle if no one minds!! This is an excellent idea!

Didi (penathey) | 22 comments I browsed the book recently in our gen society library...looked good. I'll check it out tomorrow. I have used Google for years as my number one research tool, so I am interested to know what I might have been missing in the way of advanced tools!

Liz (straea) | 25 comments Liz, I think you posted the wrong book in your Oct 18th post - didn't you mean to post that you'd begun reading the Female Ancestors one?

Are you familiar with "interlibrary loans?" If you live in North America, most Canadian and U.S. libraries participate in an interlibrary loan system. You can request a book through your local library. If they can find the book at any public and/or academic library in North America, they will then request that the book be sent to your local library for you to borrow. Some libraries require you to pay the postage, other libraries offer this service completely free of charge.
