As an explorer, your main reason for sailing to this remote island a few hundred miles off the coast of Japan was simple: the treasure rumored to be there. You and your team, or you alone, came here in search of it. But you discovered something much more sinister, and now it will take more than a miracle to get you back home- the island is full of evil.

As a looter, you came here to the island for a similar reason the explorers did; but you were willing to cheat, lie, maim, or even kill to get what you wanted. You're going to have to do much more than lying in order to get home- alive, that is.

As a researcher, you didn't care about what they said was hidden on the island, you just wanted to know what lay in the open. Animals, plants, anything you could find that would bring you fame in the scientific world- or maybe just your intermediate family.

You weren't looking for fortune or new species- you were just on your way to see your family, or on a trip with friends. You didn't want to get stuck on this island. But now you're here. Good luck.

Sᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢ

Located several hundred miles off the eastern coast of Japan, this island--dubbed Torappu by those in Japan and elsewhere--has been talked about for centuries. It is unclear how the stories came to be, as no one who has traveled there has ever returned. But one thing is for certain- when you come here, you won't be coming back the way you came. There's something paranormal hidden deep in this island.

There are four overall groups of people: explorers, looters, researchers, and boarders. Usually they are split up by the groups they came in, but occasionally the island fever will get to them and different groups are formed.
