Millie was a fighter. She fought to keep Jakub, she fought for Christopher's love and she fought for her life. She knew that if she didn't take Dorshaw out, she was never going to get to tell Christopher she loved him, she going to die a horrible death and then he was going after Jakub. The whole search and fight was very intense.
I like the fact that Byrne's heroines don't wait around to be rescued. Farah also fought her attacker.
I loved how she trusted Argent was looking for her but looked for every opportunity to save herself. These are really strong men who were captivated by women made of grit behind beautiful features. I’m liking the heroines as much, if not more, than the heroes.
I also loved everything about these scenes.

The depth of Millie's love for Jakub was demonstrated in her search for a way out of those chains and her clear thinking about the means to attack Dorshaw really impressed me. Of course, her love for Argent and the potential for a relationship with him multiplied her determination.Nevertheless, with her strength waning, it seemed that Dorshaw could have gained the upper hand momentarily and made Argent's (and the others') appearances on the underground scene all the more poignant.
