I agree it was brilliant. It's amazing in a main stream film that where possible they tried to maintain scientific accuracy both in the story and the way it was filmed. I got to see it in an IMAX screen and wow!TARS and CASE were also great. It seems characteristic of sci-fi films that the robots steal the show but even so these had some great lines especially related to the honesty settings.
I thought it looked great, but I am not at all convinced the science was so amazingly accurate. I did like the robots though.
apart from The Prestige and Batman Begins i think Nolan's movies are over-rated but maybe he just isnt for me.I thought it was a good story, looked good but i no longer praise £100M+ movies for that its now expected but my main issue with the movie was the same problem i had with True Detective, McConoughy is far too quiet and i cant understand almost a quarter of what he said.
What's the point?
At least with True Detective i could rewind and watch again but £18 to go to a movie and you cant understand the main character. Last time that happened it was JarJar Binks in The Phantom Menace.

Although it started a little slow as it developed the back story and character development, It really hooked me and I found it profoundly moving.
Some may find the realistic portrayal of the science as boring, but I found the realism added to the tension.
I love scifi that not only covers future technologies, situations etc, but how the future tests our humanity on a personal and species level.
It was a great movie that explores the human spirit as much as it did, the external universe.
And of course, I loooooved TARS and CASE! :-) They were witty, sarcastic, a little bit arrogant and smart-ass ... but totally lovable.
