Saragrace Knauf | 5 comments I am rereading all the Gamache books. I just finished The Beautiful Mystery. In this book the narrator is now pronouncing Francouer with a soft s sound. Before he pronounces it with a hard K sound as in cœur=heart. It just struck me as odd. Is there are reason anyone is aware of?

Diana | 17 comments I do not know. BTW, how are you listening to the books? Audible?

Saragrace Knauf | 5 comments Yes, in this case audible. I also rent the audio books from my library and listen to them through Overdrive. I swap back and forth from the ebook to audio depending on what I am doing.
