I know that, ideally, a suggested book should have a wide range of translations so everyone can read it. What I wanted to ask is if there’s any specific rules about this, like the book must have editions in these languages to be suggested. While I was thinking of this matter I remembered that actually most topics and discussions in the group (the ones I’ve seen, but I’m fairly new) are made in English, so I wonder if only the English edition is a must, as the person would actually need to understand English to be able to participate in the debates.

I'm pretty sure some books on the list haven't been translated into other languages.
I've not seen any requirements for the suggestions. You can suggest anything. I've suggested some really great books that have been translated into countless languages but they haven't been picked yet.
