I am glad this book was chosen as a book club pick. I am trying to read more mythology and fantasy. I struggle with the world building of high fantasy novels, so am glad that this book is urban fantasy (a form of low fantasy). I have not read any Korean mythology before. However, this past weekend, one of my friends recommended that I read Dragon Pearl (a YA / Middle Grade crossover based on Korean mythology). What are some Korean mythology novels that you enjoy?
I forgot to write my first impressions D:I, too, am glad that this was a book club book. I love any and all mythologies, so this book is right up my alley. Books inspired by Asian mythology and folklore are becoming more and more prevalent, and I'm totally down for it! Add that to the fact that I adore Korean dramas, and I was ready to read this the moment I first saw it!

Other than Wicked Fox and Dragon Pearl, I came across one YA series with Korean mythology. Gilded is the first book in the trilogy. However, it has mixed reviews on Goodreads, so I am hesitant to read it.
