The Things We Keep by Sally HepworthMy first book in 2020 was an excellent and thought-provoking read. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My last read for 2019 (and first review for 2020) was the quirky
Highfire by Eoin Colfer, not nearly as funny as his Artemis Fowl books, but displaying the same sense of humour and a fun read to finish off the year.my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Off to a good start with historic spy thriller, Under Occupation by Alan Furst 3.5★https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
At 643 pages, Grown-Ups my first book for 2020 (and my first by Marian Keyes) is certainly a fat book, but I found it very readable. If at one stage I thought Keyes was labouring the point a bit, it proved relevant and I got quite immersed in this Irish family and even shed a tear on the last page.5★s

Perfect Kill by Helen Sarah Fieldsreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My first effort at my personal challenge was not an outstanding success. I tried to listen in audiobook format to Paradise Lost by John MiltonThe narration did not rock my boat, I am trying again with actual print.
