Hi everyone - in a gentle start to the New Year I thought I'd share with you a journey I am on which combines yoga, well-being and creativity (whatever that means for you).
Aside from the physical and emotional benefits I am learning that yoga offers a foundation for releasing creativity through well-being. I'll have more to say on that in the coming weeks.
18 months or so ago I stumbled across "Yoga With Adriene" on YouTube and decided to give yoga a go. It had never really been my thing but I have loved the journey and had the good fortune to go on a yoga holiday in Goa last November at the fantastic Ashiyana Centre which deepened my understanding.
This year, Adriene's 30 Day programme is called "Home". The free channel continues throughout the year and is available whatever your experience or level of fitness. She makes yoga very accessible and you do not have to be super fit or able to contort yourself into impossible poses.
I know that many of you are already connected in some way to yoga - as guides, through attending classes or, like me, just through home practice. I'd love to hear about your experience, about books you've read on the subject and about what yoga and creativity means to you.
