I think I will read Home Work: A Memoir of My Hollywood Years, written by Julie Andrews and her daughter.

I just picked that up on Kindle, since it was on sale. I read her first memoir Home and liked it.

(some also work for Hollywood, but remember we don't allow doubling up)

I’m planning on Me & Mom & Me by Maya Angelou, I think it works well for this and for me it does double duty in my effort to catch up on some of the Our Shared Shelf picks.

I'm thinking of reading The Rainbow Comes and Goes: A Mother and Son On Life, Love, and Loss - joint memoir by Anderson Cooper and his mom Gloria Vanderbilt

That sounds like a perfect fit, but not an easy read!

Hi! I am currently reading Educated, which I think is a good fit unless it needs to be told from both the child and the parents point of view? What do you think?

Educated is a great pick. There’s so much in it about the author’s relationship with both of her parents. And just one viewpoint is completely okay.

You’re welcome. I just read it last year. It’s intense!

I’m torn between two books for this prompt! I’m stuck between either Wild Game: My Mother, Her Lover, and Me or Fairyland: A Memoir of My Father . If anyone has read either of these books and can offer suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't read either one, Samantha. Sorry to be less than helpful. I have heard great things (in a squidgy kind of way) about Wild Game.
