I liked the book Grim's debut was hysterical. I think nekoda moved a little fast on Nick but I think it would have to do get Cassie to back off LOL. I liked the introduction of Peltier bears . the villian coach was dull though and I wanted SK to reveal that lion monster's name. the fringe guards were better villains though. the action scenes were short somewhat. Bubba and Mark Cracked me up as usual
I liked the book as well. Like Ray, I was kinda "meh" about the coach, but Grim did crack me up, especially whenever he got exasperated with Nick. XDCasey ... was something else, lol, with the way she was suddenly all over Nick.
Just a couple of quick thoughts off the top of my head, there. =)
Gah I'm going to have to review this book. I'm blanking on what its about haha. Shall be back once I have checked it out.
Bahaha ok so I started rereading and Nick is so damn funny.Kyrian: "If you want to know the correct term for me, I'm a Dark-Hunter"
Nick: Nick digested that word slowly. "Which means what? You hunt darkness?"
Shari-amor I couldn't agree more...He is the most hilarious guy!! And it's like that along the whole serie.
Another thing that I find interesting about Nick is for him to be so intelligent, he's also incredibly ignorant which a lot of people comment on. Just an observation that I've noticed.
Yeah, I think that he is ignorant at first, but then when he catches the thread it becomes very easy for him to understand
Yeah! I know...I love him too. He is like Acheron 2 e.e but I wanna know what happens to Ash in that future
Another thing that I just caught on to. Nick's older brother, who we're aware of now, was never suppose to exist. Ambrose going back and forth into the past brought him into existence as well. Very interesting info
Yeah, what about him? Is he going to appear in one of the other books or something? By the way, do you know how many CoN are coming out?
I don't know if he'll appear in this series but he's been talked about a lot. We already know who he is in the DH series. He's already pretty significant there.I believe there will be 12 books total. It will meet up to the events that happened in Seize the Night
Really?? You know who he is? Please tell me. And how do you know all of this? I would like to be that informed too
Lol you learn about it in Dream Warrior at the very end. It's not out right said but you don't put it together until this book and I do believe the next CON book which give more details about the brother. We're all 98% sure his brother is (view spoiler)
Oh sorry Book Of The Month. They are the books that the group reads together if they want to participate and share thoughts
The next one is next month. We start a new book the first of every month. We have one for both Dark-Hunter series and CON. We've already had BOTMs for some of her other series like The League, Belador, and Lords of Avalon.
Oh snap this was the one where the elusive brother came into things right? For Nick I mean. And I guess that would make sense though on him suddenly getting a brother cause he is messing with things that he shouldn't be. I mean it's already an alternative world true enough. But you get too many fingers in the pot anything can happen. Ambrose is lucky he hasn't messed stuff up so far that he winds up with an extra set of fingers and toes or something.
Ahaha I like Ambrose. Everything except the fact that he is with Artemis...I'm having a hard time to get used to it.Thanks Dhfan4life e.e
Artemis with anybody gives me the heebie-jeebies. Even though she has made some strides of being more helpful in some of the later books. I still wouldn't trust her to help my grandmother cross the road any time soon.
I cried when she helped Tory (if you know what I mean) so I tolerate her a little more but no so far yet. Ahahah I don't think she's that kind of woman
Yea that was a great thing for Artie to do for Ash and Tori. And not sure if you read Styxx yet or not. But she had some moments in there too. And definitely not one to be around the elderly or easily impressionable. And oh snap, wait was Invincible the book that had the evil coach and Madaug turning peeps into zombies with his video game? I still haven't had a chance to re-review this book just yet. But I think some things are coming back to me.
I've read Styxx because thankfully I could get it from Amazon. Have you read House of the Rising Son?No, you are talking about Infinity. That was his first adventure. I remember the game. And about the couch...I'm 99% sure it's invincible
The zombies was the first CON book. This one is with the evil coachAnd Cherale you have made my morning. Lol
"Anyone with Artemis gives me the heebie-jeebies."
"I wouldn't trust her to help my grandmother cross the road"
Oooooooo good looking out and clarifications Shari. Thanks ya.Haha I can't help it. Artie has rubbed me the wrong way since we saw all the "fun" non-sexy things she liked to do to Ash in the earlier books. And then when she and Nick were watching Ash's wedding outside. It was like along came the black widow spider all over again. "I just need a friend...Will you be my friend Nick?...." Ugh I soooo wanted to jump through the book and save him from her. Same sweet as sugar line she used on Ash all those many years ago.
I know!! I wanted to pull her eyes out with a spoon and then yell: LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU BITCH. You know I marked the first time Acheron thought that he hated her in his book. I just couldn't resist
You are better than me Nicole for marking the spot when it first showed that. I'd get ticked off every time I saw that dot. And want to toss the book. Saves me from breaking book spines that way lol.
No please. Isn't the book's fault if she is such a heifer-Goddess. But every time Ash despised her I was jumping in one foot
Don't I know it. Save the book, sick a simi on the heifer goddess. ;) I'm just glad their daughter is far more like Ash than Artie any day of the week too.
Oh yeah. Katra is wonderful and no need to talk about how we felt when we found out that Artie has been hiding her her whole life!
Not yet. lolThey were getting ready to leave a crime scene and Nick said that completely random thing

His new principal thinks he’s even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit him to things he can’t even mention and the girl he’s not seeing, but is, has secrets that terrify him.
But more than that, he’s being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he doesn’t learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will become one of them...
