Kristie | 5949 comments What books did you love that you would like to recommend to others? These can be old favorites or books you just read recently and want to share.

Please do NOT suggest your own book. This is not for self-promotion, but to recommend books that you have enjoyed and want to share with others for them to enjoy. You can promote your own work here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

Mark Porton I’m probably a bit slow to the party with this one, but The Dutch House was one of my favourites for 2019. Was so sad to finish it - 5 stars from me. Here’s my review....

So it is really long, but Wanderers is amazing and I think a good start to Sci-fi as it is not too out there! I would also recommend The Institute as a starter sci-fi. It is listed as horror but is nowhere near horror.

bookswithpaulette | 1470 comments I read Strangers by C.L Taylor and it was brilliant

Katz Nancy from NJ (nancyk18) The first book I read in 2929 was a real once in a lifetime book. The title is The World We Knew by Alice Hoffman. Read slowly if you do to savor her super writing.
