I'm half way through and honestly, I'm liking it so far.
I love the way this book keeps me throwing 4 years earlier with a different font!
Jorg is a actually a nice lead the only thing I have trouble with is his age. I find it disturbingly unreal... it's just stopping me to connect with him on a n emotional level.
I keep reading and liking him but as soon as the age comes up I'm like...

Sorry, I will have to start reading this one on Monday, but I am a fast reader and will catch up with you soon :)

OK, I started on it. My first impression: I might became used to violence, but Jorg's antics to not shock me as much as Thomas Covenant infamous act (I am not giving spoilers) did.

That's great! I'm happy you are also reading it :)
I've not read Thomas Covenant, but now that you mention it, I'm adding it to my TBR list. Thanks :)

I like Jorg but his age is really ahuge disturbing factor. I just can't seem to get over the fact that he's 13... or after 100 pages, 14 years old.
Somehow it is weird. But the plot and the writing makes up for everything.

The was Lawrence throws you 4 years back with the change of font is superb. I loved reading it that way ;)

I've finished the book but I promise I won't post any spoiler for you.

I agree than if you keep in mind Jorg's age it becomes disturbing.
