Yay...doing a happy dance! Jonetta, you know I read straight through this series! Dang...I'd love to reread it with you - not sure I can work it in. Loved it.

Then the Behind His Eyes books will revisit the main scenes through Tony's eyes. My advice is to read those last in order of publication.
Thank you! They're arranged on Goodreads to be read after each book. I'm going to check the author's site to see if it was set up wrong.
I think this has been talked about before...and the author may have now changed them to be read in-between but I just know I wouldn't have wanted to read them that way. The first 3 books will come at you hard & fast read straight through...bam, bam, bam...shock after surprise after shock. I could not read them fast enough. For me personally, I liked reading Behind His Eyes afterwards as the author published them. I knew the main story but these books take it a step farther...especially the last BHE. Just my own opinion based on my reading experience.

Fantastic Fiction agrees with you. They've set up Behind His Eyes as a separate series.

I checked the log and the author didn't do this. Her site is a bit of a mess so I don't have an authoritative source to go in and change it. At least we know here the proper reading order.
I was so consumed in the first 3 books, I think it would have been distracting to stop after each one to read BHE. I guess it's a personal choice thing now, but when I read them, the BHE books were not released yet. I read each one upon its release. Even given the choice, I would not read them in-between those main books.
It's hard to know sometimes when novellas should be written...especially when prequel's are written after the first book. Is it really the start or will it have spoilers cause it was published after the book. I usually will default to pub date if I can't figure it out. lol
The 3 follow up books are not novellas, Kris. They are full length books that contain info that you don't learn in the first 3 books, imo, most especially the last one BHE:The Missing Years - that book is an eye opener. The first 2 BHE revisit scenes that happened in the first 2 books but from inside Tony's head..and because you're in his head, you realize some things that you thought were true, may not be. That type thing. For me personally, I would not have wanted that info until finishing all 3. I think it would have spoiled the intensity for me.
