I'm going to go for 60. I only have the first half of the year figured out workwise, but if the year is consistent it's doable.
I'm sticking with 20 books same as 2014. It is tempting to try for 25 or more but that would mean me pushing a bit too much to reach the goal. I prefer to enjoy what I am reading and try not to rush through it.
Since I read almost 40 books in 2014 and I had a lot going on, I am going to try for 50 in 2015 since life should be quieter. I am including the monthly genre list, the 25/25 challenge and catching up on another list I am pursuing.
I read seventy books this year, most were short stories. I'll have a lot more school work so I think I'll go for 60 to start with. maybe change it later on.
I aim for 52 books, out of which I would read 9 in January since it is a slow month. My reading slows down in summer and remains low till the fall season arrives and I pick up speed when fall colors are gone.During summers and start of fall (fall colors) I prefer spending time outside, so books usually take a back seat.
Hi all! Also new here (thanks Danielle for not making me the only newbie!), and aiming to read 52 books this year :-)
I am looking for a challenge this year so i am doing the nonfiction, world literature, and genre challenge and reading 36 books this year. 3 a month.
my goal is going to ge 55 books. 5 more than 2014 even though i had rushed to read 2 books between the day after christmas until the new year and i even had a day left after i finished if i stay. but this year is already started off slow with no books finished yet. good luck to everyone!
I am following several challenges so I hope to read 50 books this year. That includes a genre selection each month (12); the 25/25 challenge (25); plus 13 or more from another challenge to read a book for each year you have been alive. That is adding about 10 books to my accomplishment for this year (2014) so it should be doable.
My goal is 75 books, I read fast so I'm hoping to get there!! I almost got there last year, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Finished my first book of the year!! Love Sophie Kinsella and 'I've Got Your Number' did not disappoint! 49 more books to go!! :-)
My goal for 2015 is 12 books. I set for one a month because school is killing me and I hate not meeting a goal.
I'm aiming for 64 books, two of which will be university psychology books at least. But I'm hoping to read every book written my MC Beaton this year and to read a couple of classics which is a genre I've not read since I was at school. Going to try to read books I don't usually think about reading as my Goodreads First reads wins last year were great and unexpectedly enjoyable for books I wouldn't usually have picked up. I'm a bit late joining the group so I've already read 4 books including one MC Beaton. Looking forward to working out how this group works :)
My challenge for 2015 is to read 100 books... I've already finished 42 and it's only february. I will be going on a vacation soon so I should knock quite a few off there...
my goal is 175 books. the problem that I am having is that I reread books so I can't add them again and it looks like I have read less.
You can, if you click on the book and change the review, you can change at what date you finished the book.
My goal is set at 115, but I'm only counting new books and not any that I've reread. Also, no counting manga/comic books because I read those so quickly it's like a reading appetizer. So, I'm making this challenge even more challenging, but it's definitely worth it.
I wasn't able to go to the library for a number of months so I kind of fell of the wagon with the challenges but now that I can be back at the library I'm challenging myself to read new authors
I had a lot of things come up so I don't think I'll finish them this year but I hope we do them next year so I can try again
Hope you find some great new reads at the library. Read when you can, never stress because things get in the way and just enjoy it when you can.
My challenge is to read 12 non-fiction books, one per month and completely clear my "currently reading" list before starting new ones
We've got a Non-Fiction Mini-Challenge which might interest you. Also a TBR challenge for books you already own.

Personal Challenges are threads for you to keep track with your reading over the year. How you use them is up to you. It could just be a simple book list, or it could be a log of everything you do in the group (mini challenge participation etc). Basically, it's your place to do what you want with. You could have multiple lists within your thread if you want!
Set up your own thread and get ready to start reading! 2015 here we come!
