Cecil Huston | 234 comments Going to read I Know My Name by C.J. Cooke by C.J. Cooke. Fits the "Name" and I have it already!
(Trying to use books I already have that I haven't read yet, instead of buying/renting more.) :)

Thanks everyone. I decided to go with a light hearted contemporary romance. The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson

Pamela McIntosh | 13 comments My May choice was The BOOKshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson. My review is at https://topplingbookpile.blogspot.com...

message 11: by Simone (new)

Simone (simonec75) I finished this one, but I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. The plot itself was fantastic, but the author didn't use any direct speech (when he did, it was without quotation marks) and the book went from 1st to 3rd person all the time. It was really hard to follow.

The Lost Book of Adana Moreau by Michael Zapata

Cecil Huston | 234 comments Challenge complete! Very much enjoyed “I Know My Name”, by C.J. Cooke. Did NOT see that ending coming, and suspense was maintained well throughout. Very satisfied!

I just finished the Book Charmer by Karen Hawkins. Ended up giving it a 4star review, it was a bit slow to start and a quick wrap up but i enjoyed it

Tari (thann) Best I could do, book within the word bookstore: Body in the Bookstore Emma Lee 5/25/20 Body In The Bookstore (Snow Ridge Mysteries, #1) by Emma Lee

There were some crazy characters but a certifiably crazy killer that they were trying to trip up in this inverted type mystery. We found out pretty early who the killer was, now they just had to catch him before he did any more damage. Quick and not too nerve-wracking ;) with all the cozy elements intact.

Shannon (shananigansreads) My Bluegrass Baby (Bluegrass, #1) by Molly Harper

Read: My Bluegrass Baby by Molly Harper

Finished: May 18, 2020

Length: 5 hours 28 minutes

Rating: 3 Stars

Comments: An enemies to lovers romance. Though I love this trope I never really connected with the characters which made it less enjoyable. But overall it was a cute story.
