Oh what a great book to start off the year! I loved it as well. I listened to the audiobook a few weeks ago. I never wanted it to end.

I enjoyed Oliver Twist, too. If you have Audible, they have an Audible Original called Dodge & Twist by Tony Lee. The story takes place twelve years after the original story. It was amusing.

I have been meaning to read this for so long, but I prefer listening to the audio for memoirs, and my library only has the audio on CD, not on Overdrive. I really need to get over the inconvenience and just do it.

This one was a really tough read for me, but I did enjoy the bleakness and how Ward's language choices matched that feeling.
