Ohh I just saw the trailer for the babysitters club and it was truly adorable! Got Radioactive on my list to watch as well. And Warrior Nun was way better than I hoped. I didn't know it came for a comic book! Thats great!

I've never heard of Warrior Nun before. The title itself was so bizarre I had to look up the source. Is it really worth watching?

It is good, similar in mood to Motherland Fort Salem (military witches from Hulu). It is tween in content, meaning that it is not as deep as other supernatural shows and it has quite a lot of angst and teenager love drama. For me, it walks the delicate line of being teenage but still entertaining without being too angsty.
The plot overall is quite entertaining, there is a nice amount of double-crossing, character development and interesting lore about the demon world.
The characters make sense unto themselves, their priorities, background and motives really develop over the season and it makes a good job in establishing motive and goals of the main party, so to speak.
Overall, I would say give it a chance. It is not super deep so it makes for a relaxing and entertaining show. :)

I had no idea A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth is already finished, and apparently aired on BBC One this August.
There was a controversy concerning this adaptation. You can check the newest article: Director Mira Nair Addresses ‘A Suitable Boy’ White Writer Controversy.
My concern was not so about the cultural appropriation, but that, even though he is a masterful screenwriter, Davies has a history of controversial dramatic choices intended to shock in his period dramas, last being Sanditon, that was not what Austen (and Austenites) would've ever approved. Was his writing faithful to this story and sensitive to this culture? The director is of Indian descent, and she did some amazing movies, so I am sure she wouldn't have approved anything out of the order. The article mentions they collaborated well and extensively on the script after he finished the first draft intended for eight hours long series. Interestingly in the end it is noted she wouldn't mind another approach to the story. What does that mean in the view of this show? Let's see for ourselves. I would like to watch the series, but don't know when I'll get the chance. If some of you has already seen it, please share your thoughts with us!

Brave new world was quite a good adaptation! Can't wait to see Enola Holmes, albeit most of my excitement stems from Henry Cavill playing Sherlock...

Ohh such a great list! I have to confess I watched After we collided. It is not good, but it's like taking a full glass of tween angst on steroids. I think it fills a void left by Twilight, xD Can't wait to see what the book is like.

Lol I understand what you mean, a guilty pleasure :)
I am curious about Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and News of the World. The plays are so difficult to get for me. I have to patiently wait for an e-book discount, as paperback versions are so expensive. I'll probably just watch the movie. News of the World I actually have an e-book, but I think I'll watch the movie first anyway. I'll never watch it otherwise, I have so many other books on the waiting list :)

Ohh I want to watch News of the World too! Depending on how it is I might consider the book, but it is doubtful. xD Have you checked if there are any used library books on Amazon? Since I am far away too but I usually do when there is no ebook is to order the paperback version from a reseller, there are lots that sell library books. They have the stamp but are otherwise in good condition. They sell for 2 or 3 dollars, so you only have the expenditure of the shipping which is like 3 USD extra and sometimes it is free inside the US. You need to use a box service since most only send inside the US and then pay for the shipping to your country. Books usually don't have import taxes so that is free and voila! :D

Thanks for recommendation, I will look into Amazon deeper. I do buy used books, but mostly on Ebay UK and other UK bookstores, as the shipping is cheaper. The problem with plays is that they are so rarely offered for cheap, if there is any available at all. I guess the print is scarce if they are not classics like Tennessee Williams. Sometimes I get lucky and I find one or two on discount for Kindle - that way I got Twelve Angry Men and Fences!
