HI!

I'm here, when you come!

Heli (her nickname) walked into the academy. It was her first day and she was really nervous. There were so many types of dragons! What if they didn't like her?

(it's fin, this is my first one)

(Oh, then it works out! :))

A dark green Seawing flops into the entrance. "Whoa, this place is HUGE!"

He looks back to see his parents flying away, towards the sea. "A bit too huge..."

Heli turned her head and saw a SeaWing. He looked a bit scary. She started to walk away, not wanting to get into any trouble.

As he looked for someone to talk to, his eyes landed on a small rainwing standing by herself. She didn't look mean! "Hello! What's your name?" he asks, jogging towards her, as fast as his chubby body would let him go.

Heli, a bit startled by the SeaWing approaching her quickly said "Oh, um hi im Heli." Her voice came out a bit squeaky and quiet..

(Yup, your good!)

"Hello! I'm Tadpole! I noticed you standing alone and thought you might want company." He says, squinting his algae green eyes.

"Oh, um nice to meet you." Heli said. She was freaking out. This was her first conversation with someone other than a RainWing or NightWing, she'd only met a few.

he looks around for a second, just to make sure nobody else is approaching

"nice to meet you too!" he chirps

Heli gives him a small smile, not sure on what else to do.

"so... do you know which winglet you're in?"

he smiles, trying NOT to be awkward for once.

(Ill be right back, I need to help my Mom with something)

(and when you get back, what do we do to show a thought a character is having?)

"Oh, im in the Bronze Winglet. Well, at least I think so." Heli said.

(You can do pretty much anything to show a thought. For example, you could say... He thought "Wow, this school is so big!". Or you could do He walked around the school thinking about how excited he was to finally be here. If that makes sense.)

"No kidding? me too!" Oh, come on Tadpole. he thinks. Don't be a smoke-breather, nobody says that.

"uh, yeah. I think I'm there too."

"Oh, cool." Heli said, warming up to Tadpole a bit more. She would have to get used to him if they were going to be in the same Winglet! Maybe the school year would be better then she expected.

"Yeah!" I hope our Clawmates are nice!"

"Yeah, I hope so too" Heli said.

"Isn't there one from every tribe? I hope our Icewing isn't too cold. hehe..." Three moons, I am the worst at making jokes thinks Tadpole.

"have you ever met a dragon from a different tribe before?"

"I think so." Heli said, then at Tadpole's bad joke she awkwardly laughed, trying to be friendly.

"Nope, your my first one."

"A-are we allowed to go inside yet? when do we find out our Winglets?"

"I think we can go in, im pretty sure the doors just opened." Heli said, "And im not sure, I've never been here before."

"Ok! Well... I'm gonna go inside. See you around!" Wow, thinks Tadpole, the first seawing she meets is me. What a great dragon to learn about seawings from. stupid, chubby, awkward Tadpole.

"Okay, see you." Heli says, a bit sad that her first conversation with a SeaWing just ended. She starts heading towards the front door.

Once safely inside, Tadpole gets a good look at the other students. He sees them from all different tribes. He even sees a hybrid. He wonders who he will be his Clawmates. Will Heli be there? I hope I can get better at socializing.

Heli heads into the school, she was amazed as she looked around the place. It was amazing, there was so much to see and do. "Hm." she wonders, "I wonder where the Library is!"

He sees that Heli came in too, and makes his way to the corner. I hope they start assigning us winglets soon! he thinks, not wanting to linger around here for too long.

After roaming the halls for a few minutes, Heli comes across a sign labeled "Library" "This is it!" she thinks as she walks inside.

Where would the seawings have gone... he could be able to talk with them. He stars making his way to the cafeteria, only to bump into a mean-looking icewing. Well, he thinks, I'm dead.

"Woah..." she mutters as she sees how many scrolls there are. She looks around for a few minutes in shock. Then eventually leaves to see the rest of the school.

"Watch where you're going, kelp-face!" The icewing shouts. "I just cleaned my scales, and now they have your ocean germs on them!" Dark blue eyes glare at the cowering Tadpole with hate. "SCRAM!"
Tadpole scurries away, half flying, half running, until he is sitting by himself in the cafeteria.

(I think I might make another dragon for the winglet. Maybe a Nightwing?)

(that's a good idea the icewing I just bumped into is Snow Leopard.)

Stupid Seawings, thinks Snow Leopard

Heli looks into the cafeteria, a bit frightened at the sight of so many dragons, some twice the size of her. She then spots Tadpole sitting by himself. She starts to consider going to go sit next to him.
