Reading German Books in 2020 discussion

I have started with this Kafka: The Complete Stories I have had lying around, 1995 edition from the Schocken Kafka Library under Penguin Random House.

I also have lying about Minima Morelia by Theodor Adorno (admit I'm intimidated by this one); Illuminations by Walter Benjamin; and The Fox Was Ever the Hunter by Herta Müller. I will plan to read those during the year, though who knows how I shall get on with Adorno!

I also am interested in finally reading Berlin Alexanderplatz (considering the sheer quantity of time I've spent there, I should've read it years ago) and Hans Fallada, plus some Goethe.

Good luck with these plans. It's great to finally get to books you have had around for a while.

It's looking rather male-centric at the moment, er. I will see if I can improve on that a bit.
