Marin (marinbeth) | 187 comments Does anyone else have friends or family members set reading challenges for them? I asked my husband to put together a 12-book challenge for me for the year, and he came up with a really good, challenging set of prompts. I'd love know if other people do this and share our personalized challenge lists.

What a fun idea! My 11 yr old son is the only other person in my life who is an avid reader so I wouldn't get very far with this, but I did put together my own large reading challenge last fall that I'm working on, and it has a couple of sub-challenges built in as well. I like working on a challenge that's customized to what reading goals I want to accomplish :)

I love that, Marin! I haven't done that but I would love to do it for other people lol.

Marin (marinbeth) | 187 comments I would love to do that too! Though I think I'd write prompts to get people to read specific books I've been recommending to them. The whole list would be things like "Read a book about criminal justice reform whose title starts with 'J' and contains the word 'Mercy.'"
