This is my absolute favorite collection of the original Brothers Grimm fairy tales, complete with gore and illustrations. It's a prized posession in my personal library.



Published by the brothers themselves way back when there wasn't any such thing as traditional publishing and all authors were indie by default.

So worth it. Hard bound book. It's gorgeous. I was super lucky to find it on sale in a Vancouver bookstore on a rainy day.

Is this the same one, Lily!? For some reason I thought it would be a lot more expensive.

Huh. Well looks like we're getting ripped off up here in the north :P

Time is probably a factor, this edition was published a while ago, but not long enough to call it vintage. Yet. I'm holding on to my copy. It might be worth millions some day.

At least half a mil. :-p

The hardback is $20 on amazon but since it's cyber monday, you get an extra 30% off. Sweet.

Actually, I only paid about 15$ at the time.
