I've read a couple, really good ones. Of the ones I haven't read I have read a lot of the authors. Good choice I think. I've applied as a volunteer again. Fingers crossed.
I have read a couple too, but I have to admit I don't have a clue what World Book NIght is all about.
I haven't read many of the list, just Skellig (fantastic, usually seen as a children's book but I found it very rewarding), The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (quite enjoyed) and When God Was A Rabbit (okay). I guess if I was choosing one to give out then it would have to be Skellig.Would anyone recommend any of the others?
I will be getting The Martian. I tend to give them to a variety of people, some go to those I work with and that I think need to read more!
Me too Paul. Yippee. The assassins apprentice is mine. Looking forward to giving it out. I tend to take them to work and leave them in out patients dept of hospital - mental health area. Loads of peeps pick them up = esp as its near the exit to hospital too.
You have to put them in order of choice. Top 3 if I remember right. Not sure I do. Haha. This year they have given all one out of their top 3 anyway. It's a bit hit and miss now more popular. It's fun indeed.
