What did you think of Cinder?

I found it original and refreshing. Who would have thought of a cyborg Cinderella? Well apart from Marissa Meyer that is. My immediate thought was that this is a book that should be made into a movie. It would be spectacular:)

Yep very much agree - I absolutely loved this book and it's follow ups...can't wait for the rest of the series to come out! I love a good fairytale retelling and this is by far the best i've come across, either book or movie...i found it so inventive - the world building is spectacular and character development was fantastic...and despite the familiar cinderella roots, it was still so unpredictable.

I definitely encourage people to follow this up with Scarlet (little red riding hood) and Cress (rapunzel)...the two books remaining are the series' prequel Fairest (the evil queen in Snow White) out in a few weeks and the final instalment Winter (snow white) out later this year.
