Each series has an assigned point value based on the number of books in the series. In addition, 5 points will be awarded for every book started and finished in the level.✔

Trilogy = 30 pts base
Four book series = 40 pts
Five book series = 50 pts
Six book series = 60 pts
Seven book series = 70 pts
Eight book series = 80 pts
Nine book series = 90 pts
Ten or more book series = 100 pts

When you start the next level, you start at zero points. You may not carry points over. It's as if you are starting the challenge for level one, with a bunch of unfinished series.

If you don't want to read a series back to back, you can alternate books from more than one series.
You will get 5 points for every book started and finished within a level, as long as it belongs to a series you are reading. You need two things to complete a level - at least one finished series and 100 points.

Me and Pragya are going to do a buddy read for The Chronicles of Narnia, in Mid Feb. I'm not 100% sure on which book she wants to start with. I'm thinking personally of reading the books in Chronological order starting with 'The Magician's Nephew' rather than published order, so once I know what Pragya would prefer, I'll let you know as I know Peggy has this on her list to read also. So once I get a better idea of what they want to start with , I'll let you know about a buddy read =]

Totally want to read A Song Of Ice and fire series but I'm hooked on the tv series already and I'm sure the books will be even better so I plan to wait till the tv series is done before doing the books (agony I tell you but nothing compared to those of us waiting for Kingkiller Chronicles book 3!!!)

I started it too. I love Vance's voice. I even bought the latest two books from Audible because they were not available from our library. My middle daughter is listening to them as well.
