Reading German Books in 2020 discussion

First Book is Marzahn, mon amour: Geschichten einer Fußpflegerin. Isn't translated yet. But is a very good, funny and interesting book. And not very difficult to read.

So jetzt. sehr meine Bemerkung im richtigen Level. Mindestens 15 Bücher sollte ich doch schaffen. Deutschsprachige sicher, aber die sollten dann auch noch von Deutschsprachige Autoren oder Autorinnen sein. Eine Liste folgt noch.

Second Book is Wie wir gehen. Roman Ist a new book of a swiss autor, so it isn't translated yet. I was really enjoying it, because I didn't know the autor, (I think he is living in the same town....). See my review.

Dieses Buch was neu, und ist noch nicht übersetzt. Ich kennte den (Schweizer) Schriftsteller nicht, obwohl er in der gleichen Stadt lebt...., und werde sicher mehr von ihm lesen. Die Thematik des Buches ist nicht so leicht (Verdingkinder in der Schweiz), aber gut und flüssig geschrieben. Also empfehlenswert! Auf zum 3. Buch.

Third book finished. Vaterschaftstest. Ist a new book of a german autor, and isn't translated yet. I was really enjoying is. See my review which is comming.

Ein interessantes Buch von einem für mich unbekannten Schriftsteller. Es hat sehr viel Spass gemacht zum lesen. Gut geschrieben und eine gute Geschichte.

Fourth Book is a small book from a young swiss autor. It isn't only in german. Serafina Haldimann, Die Liebe des Löwentzahns. It was nice, but more young adults as literatur.

Fifth book is finished. It's a new book of an austrian autor, which I can recomanded. It's not his first book, so there is more. The book was very interesting, but it didn't make you happy. Leichte Böden

Sixth book is finished. It's also a new book from an autrian autor (female). Which I can recomanded. It's about a boy who try to find his way after 2 year in prison. It isn't easy. That is exactly what the title wants to say. But the story is good. Ich an meiner Seite: Roman

No. 7. Der Sommer im Garten meiner Mutter, Ariela Sarbacher. It's a new book of a swiss autor, I can't find it in the database.

No. 8. Alpsegen (Philipp Probst). A new book of Philipp Probst, a swiss autor and busdriver (in Basel), that was very nice. You follow Selma by her work on an Alp and in the City (Basel). It is good written, so you hear the cowbells.

No. 9, Die Frau auf der Treppe. An interesting book.

Thanks so much. I've tried it, but the ISBN-Number was already used for an other book of the same publischer, (a mistake I think) and so I didn't know how to chance it.

Book no. 10 Fahrplanmäßiger Aufenthalt The newest book with short storries of Franz Hohler, a famous swiss writer. Some of his books are also in English. The stories are mostly interesting and a little bit of funny.

Book no. 11 is finished. Die Königin schweigt. This is a nice und pretty/easy reading book of an younger austrian author. I think also the members with lesser german skills can read it. The book is about the life of Fanny, a simple farmdautherfrom the beginning till her last yesrs. It is written as it is her memory, but the book isn't a biografie. The book is only translated in an cyrilic language.

Book no. 12 is finished. Das Museumder Brentanos, written by Günther Androsch. It is a small book about the roots of a jewisch femaly, which startet in Venice and goes back to Germany (Schwabach) with an stop in Hohenems (Austria, at the Swiss border). Nice to read, nice language.

Book no. 13 and 14 are finished. Ich stehe hier, weil ich gut bin: Allein unter Männern: Eine Herzchirurgin kämpft sich durch und Helvetia 1949. The first is an (auto) Biography of an very interesting woman. The second is an Thriller from a swiss author, with a lot of Swiss-german Language .

Book no. 15 is also finished. Die Liebe Geld. Eine Komödie. A very good and small comedy. Easy to read.
