Yeah I know this was supposed to be a December 31st post, but screw time! It's 2020, so let's get into it!
We're officially a month into a new decade Can you believe it? I feel like 2010-2020 has passed us by really quickly? And the conversations and discussions/challenges we've had have no doubt evolved as well. So I thought it'd be neat to cast a light on some of the highlights of our 2019 as a group, and what I think lies in the group's future for 2020.
So there you have it, everything that was a "big" hit in this group for 2019! Here what that means for 2020...
More chances to advertise your stuff: By far you all just want your works seen
More chances to have your works reviewed: And there needs to be more pairs of eyes reviewing these stuff. So why not? I definitely want to work on asking our fellow bibliophiles if they wouldn't mind being dedicated novel reviewers, or enlist the help of some of you to swap a novel for a novel. So why not?
More tools and resources content: We know a lot of you probably want to know what type of tools other writers use, and what other resources/ support systems they have to achieve their writing goals (aka networks, agents, publishing tools, etc.) So we're going to work on highlighting that for you!
Less group challenges, more group discussions: Admittedly, this group has fizzled out of regular story contests and novel contests. Most of you want to know what to do AFTER that bad boy's been written. So we'll do just that
And that's all my frazzled brain can think of for now? If you have any other recommendations, don't worry----I plan to make a "Board" where all of you can see (and add to) the things we plan to have in store for 2020.
Thank you all for riding this ten-year wave with us! -xoXO Ingrid & Michelle XOxo
