I'll be starting tomorrow night! (Apparently adulthood means you have to actually schedule your reading time.)
Ok I just started this, I'm only to page 20. I know it'll be a plot device later but I was so put off (view spoiler)
I've made it to Chapter 10 and I'll put a spoiler tag here even though it's not really a spoiler, but (view spoiler)
your pace always amazes me hahaha. I need to catch up this weekend. I started a new job position and life has been CRAZY. lots of 8 30 bedtimes lately

We've run into a toddler who doesn't like to nap unless he's in the car, so I've been spending 2 hours sitting in the car at a park lately, haha! That's how I sneak in most of my reading time lately.
ahhhhhh a toddler that still naps hahahaha I would love it. my four year old is very insistent that he DOESN'T NEED A NAP and then hes asleep by 7 lol
Feel free to jump in! Oooh, kid free weekend! That sounds great, haha!
Yes! My 4.5 year old tells me he never needs naps but is always moving like sludge by 6:00 haha.
"There's something energizing about getting what you want, even if that something is shame." Ooooooooo
Brave when was your little man born? I got mine on December 10th 2015. Your baby only 6-ish months older than mine?
YES, I kept referring to him in my head as "Suspiciously Perfect Jeff," hahaha!Such a good quote.
My two youngest boys were born April 30, 2015, and I have one younger that was a 28-weeker preemie born July 12 2018! I also am now mom to their two big brothers (born 2010 and 2005). We adopted the four of them from foster care in September of last year! We've had them all since just before the baby was born.

Hi Brave, can I message you about foster care and adoption? I'm amazed that you're so young and have adopted 4! My husband and I are in the baby steps of looking into foster care and/or adoption.

Yes! PLEASE message me! I'm an open book. I never ever shut up about it, honestly, hahaha. :) Please message me, I'm happy to answer all your questions.
We weren't initially super interested in adoption necessarily at first. We really wanted to meet the foster care need in our area (which is in Appalachia, hit really hard by the opioid crisis), but our boys are perfect and wonderful humans, fit into our families perfectly (and we fit into theirs!), and with their spread of ages, we absolutely did not want them separated. I'd choose it over and over again!
Lindsay wrote: "Oh I HATE Jeff after how he treated Sam when she showed up"UGH YES SAME. That put Jeff at the top of my poop list, hahahaha

Ok thank you! And that just warms my heart!! Your family are heroes!
Page 96 - So, I'm perversely loving this dynamic between Sam and Quincy. I love Sam. The Xanax binge was a really strange but powerful scene. It just made me imagine living in a world of that nasty, negative, brain space.
I was friends with someone SO MUCH LIKE Janelle in high school and reading that scene legitimately made my heart race. Like SHE IS SO DUMB!! But also...I found that scene almost TOO believable lol.
page 142 - they just found out Lisa was murdered. But the stuff about Quincy wanting Coop to notice the bruise just 100% solidified my impression that her relationship with Coop is NOT healthy. Oh, Janelle's level or stupid is definitely believable. unfortunately lol
