Can we have the genre/audience aim to help me out a little bit more? (So I know whether it should be more like a YA/Middle grade title.)
My first entry is a play on words from this quote from MacBeth. See Below("Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this sun of York;")
1. Made Glorious Summer of Dork(s)
2. Anti-Jungle Jettison (instead of Anti-fungle medicine)
I think these Title ones are HARD. You have to try and come up for a name of a book that you haven't read. UGH! I think everyone did a really good job. I feel so lost. It's one thing to write a Blurb about a book you know but I kept wonder if Axel's Uncle's name was Bob. Then it could be called, "Bob's Your Jungle" Instead of Bob's Your Uncle. Neither of which makes any sense. Ugh! (again)
Glad I'm not going to be voting for this one. Let someone else pick and I'll be able to skip my weekly appointment to my PschyoTherapist.
Rooting for ALL of you.
1. Portal through there and back
2. The whereabouts of the Jungle
~Shayna
2. The whereabouts of the Jungle
~Shayna
My favorite two are 2 and 3 so I'll delete 1#

1. Same rules throughout the group matter here too.
2. The title needs to have something to do with the prompt. I mean, if the blurb is about someone becoming a cat and growing up to be a ballerina, you could write a title like Cheese, but it might not get voted for. As long as it doesn't contain anything inappropriate, then it's fine!
3. Up to two entries per person allowed.
4. Contest starts NOW (1/27/20) and ends SOON (1/31/20).
Let us begin!!
© There will be no stealing of anyone's work, including stealing this blurb and using it for your own. We should all be mature enough to respect that if we are entering a contest. ©
BLURB: Axel has always lived an ordinary life. He wakes up, goes to school like any other sixteen year old, and plays sports and video games after. In fact, a lot of people wonder what would happen to him if something in his life went out of sync.
Well, they're about to find out.
It's the start of summer break when Axel's uncle he hasn't seen for six years stops by to visit the house. Then just as suddenly as his uncle arrives, he disappears. When Axel goes to find him, he falls through a portal and arrives in an unknown jungle.
Where is this place?
Can he find his uncle, if he's even here?
And how will he get home?
(Okay, pardon me for the cheesiness of the blurb; I've never done this before so I'm getting used to it.)
