G.K. Werner (gkwerner) Hi everyone!

This looks like a great group, but I don't see a lot of activity lately. Anyone interested in Robin Hood books?

Here's mine. Just wanted to let folks know

ROBIN OF LOCKSLEY is on sale for 99¢
now through December 12, 2014.

Would love to get discussions going, particularly about Eleanor and early Plantagenet times.

Robin of Locksley Tales of Robin and Marian by G.K. Werner

Robin and Marian – the traditional tales as they've never been told before.

Taken from the Clerk of Copmanhurst's second letter and including: childhood heroes; the abruptness of childhood's end; how paths may crisscross without converging; the likelihood of being outlawed for a crime one did not commit as opposed to a crime one did; the blessing of unconditional forgiveness; the inconvenience of foes who come to dinner and don't leave; the convenience of a castle's hidden passages; arguments for and against leaving old friends behind; new friends found at unlikely times and in unlikely places (such as during an abduction in town and an assault in the forest, not to mention on a log-bridge); disguises; warrants; a dunking; a drunking; and a battle.

Thank you! As do yours. Very interesting. I enjoy the time period and will have to check them out.

Robert of Wakefield is the first, introducing Robin's father and the major villains.

Robin of Locksley begins the tale of Robin and Marian based on the old ballads and inspired by the Victorian era adventure books.

I completely made up the stories about Robin's father for Robert of Wakefield because there are no old ballads about him and pretty much nothing about him in the Robin Hood books of the past.

Er, actually, these old letters by the Clerk of Copmanhurst were found in an archeological dig and ...

G.K. Werner (gkwerner) Hi Folks!

The third Clerk of Copmanhurst Tales, ROBIN OF BARNSDALE, is now available on Amazon. Robin and Marian actually meet this time, face to face (not to mention sword to sword!)--at last! And if you don't mind waiting just a few more days,
ROBIN OF BARNSDALE will be on sale for 99¢ from May 4th to May 11th.

In fact, to celebrate ROBIN OF BARNSDALE's publication,
(in which Robin and Marian really do finally meet—I promise!)
the FIRST TWO BOOKS, ROBERT OF WAKEFIELD and ROBIN OF LOCKSLEY, will also be
on sale for 99¢ each from April 27th to May 1st

What could be merrier for the merry month of May?

Thank you so much once again to everyone who has been following the Clerk's history of ROBIN HOOD and MARIAN FITZWALTER (who will definitely—well, you know).

Hope you enjoy their latest adventures.

Best Wishes,
GK Werner
