It's time for a new A-Z Real Life Location Challenge! No fictional places allowed.


For each letter A through Z, read a book in which the location name begins with the corresponding letter. For the difficult letters Q, X, Y and Z, you may use locations where the letter appears somewhere in the location name. Only real locations will work for this challenge.

Challenge Rules: All forms of books are accepted as long as they are 100 pages or more. When posting updates of completed books, please include a link to the title and author’s name, along with the date you finished reading the book.

thank you... yes, I'm looking for quebec or queensland or just queens or the state of qatar... I've once read a book set in Quickborn, and it was nice but not nice enough for a re-read...

thanks for your tip, I'll try it! I would have never choosen it from the cover my library has



- way too dark and "thrillery" for me, but since the reviews mentions often that it was very slow moving with little action, I've put in on my TBR

It's one of my favorite series Rosa! It's very character driven if you like that kind of thing.

Once I logged into the computer this all became so easy lol! On my phone i couldn't see the edit/reply/delete area! I feel silly now! I'll get right on posting my book :)

Yes, it doesn't work on the phone. You need to be on a desktop version of GR. GR is so 80s lol

I have no problems (with that specific thing) on my phone... are you using the app or the web page?

Maybe it's an Android issue. There are some GR features that I don't see that my iPhone friends do see.

A number of people have commented that the mobile app is TERRIBLE. They access the website from their phones, however, and are able to use all the features they use on a desktop. Hope that helps. (I'm strictly a desktop gal ...)

It's still a little different and I'd never be able to do challenges from it, at least if I could, it wouldn't be very fast lol. What I love about using GR on my iPad and with a browser is that I can see the entire numbers of my WTR. Some of the upper numbers won't show up on my laptop. I thought I was nuts once seeing a bunch of books with the same number ROTFL
