Gavin believed Dougan had actually died in Newgate, unaware that he had assumed Dorian’s identity. Why do you supposed he kept that secret? Your thoughts about them bring mirror images of each other?

Dougan was sent to Newgate for killing a priest. Dougan, if discovered, would be sent back to Newgate. It was important that his survival be kept secret and the fewer who knew the truth the better, though it seems that more and more know.

I thought the same thing, Anita. This was supposed to be a big secret, however, it seems more people are finding out the truth.

Dorian's secret was not Liam's to tell. He was being loyal to his brother (Dorian).

I find it very interesting that Dorian and Gavin look so much alike. The dark and light side of the same coin perhaps.
