Welcome to Milk and Honey Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on February 1st and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Week of 2/2: Chapter 1
Week of 2/9: Chapter 2
Week of 2/16: Chapter 3

Hi Aless! Thanks for making the thread for us. Ocean and I have agreed to read 1 chapter each week of Feb, since there's only 4. M&H is a pretty short read, but we're balancing with many others throughout the month and thought this would work best. Would we be able to keep our chosen schedule? This is my first buddy read on here, not sure if this is doable!

I've been both reading the poems and listening to the audiobooks, and I've found they complement each other so well; I listened first, and when I read, I realized there were illustrations too.

This first chapter deals with trauma from abuse, but I found some of them resonate with me although I haven't experienced exactly that.
"trying to convince myself that I'm allowed to take up space....when I was born to use my right"
I'm appreciating the read so far. Thoughts?
