Karri (karribooklover) | 3 comments Hey everyone!
I have been seeing a ton of "supernatural prison" books on preorder. I have only seen a few actually released but they seem to have decent reviews(but all by different authors). I have not read any of them yet. Any suggestions on where to start? I have Supernatural Inmate preordered and its about to come out! So I guess I'll start there if no one has any other recommendations.
Is this a theme that will last? Are you interested in reading them?

(I have a podcast where I review books so I am interested in any recommendations you have in the urban fantasy department. But I'm trying to plan ahead based on what seems to be gaining popularity)

Yes all of the above. And I see many more similar books by different authors on preorder. It seems to be what some self published author believe will be the next trend instead of "academy" style books (books set at a magical school).

Books set at a prison for supernatural beings.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 398 comments OK thanks for explaining. These 'trends' in indie UF and romance are so tiresome to me. So this is another one that I'll most probably ignore.

Karen ⚜Mess⚜ | 49 comments I haven't heard of this, but it looks kind of cool.

Sounds like what they did with a bunch of romance novels. Cards of Love series
